2015 Fashion week

Hey Fashionistas,

Have you guys seen the fashions from the Spring 2015 Fashion Week??

I wish I was there, but sadly I wasn't,  here are some pics from the show. BTW I have way to many so I am only including 2 designers

Costa ran with two ideas—color-blocking and clean layers. Lesser designers might stumble into boring-town when focusing so sharply on a single silhouette and basic color palette. But this is Costa's wheelhouse.They say god is in the details. Well, fashion is in the details, too. When you look at Francisco Costa's collection from afar, you might think, "same-same." Get up close, though, and you realize the subtle variances of shape, color and embellishment is where the beauty lies.But the clothes stood up to the fun theatrics. Of course, one might expect a tongue-in-cheek ode to real housewives of the '50s or '60s with a pink house like that, but instead Jacobs did a 180 with louche military. Ever pushing the idea of what a fashion show is, Marc Jacobs invited everyone home a big pink one with a plush pink shag carpet walkway for spring chez Jacobs. The giant home ran the length of the runway, while Beats by Dre headphones were plugged into each seat. As models walked over the carpet, guests heard the sound of girls walking on gravel, random every day sounds and a computerized voice explaining what was happening on the runway. Meta stuff this.

In shades that ran from dove gray and nude to camel, rich blues and, of course, army green, his showed 55 ways to wear the field jacket. These would be: swing dresses, cinched satin minis, ball-beaded shirtdresses and daytime party dresses, pajama pants, tank dresses and evening columns with peekaboo slits and cropped tops with long, silk skirts.Long, sporty shapes, like midi-length skirts, round-necked coats and shells, mid-length coats, all skimmed the body. He color-blocked navy and black panels into dresses and coats, and a handful of perforated fit-and-flare minidresses.


And the actual field jackets were pretty terrific, too, in extra-extra large proportions and with silk pockets. He carried over the silk pocket idea to cute little sleeveless mini-dresses worn with cross-body bags and magenta backpacks in silk and nylon.While bright red, silvery black and a warm off-white made an appearance, the day belonged to navy. It has never looked mored chic and sophisticated.It was modern, feminine utility, and while the stage and the models' spare, homogeneous beauty look (shaggy black bobs and zero makeup) suggested something severe, the clothes were very, very wearable. And that's a pretty great way to end the New York season.Texture was super-fine as ribbed knits or luxe meshes that hinted at skin below. And tiny belts and sculptural metal clasps detailed most looks, emphasizing an empire waist.
